After the great success of blockbuster movie “Top Gun (1986)” director Tony Scott presented another great action movie named “Enemy of the State (1998)” featuring my favorite star Will Smith. Taking its “honest man unintentionally made up for lost time in political adulteration” story from such movies as Francis Ford Coppola’s The Conversation, Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Sydney Pollack’s Three Days of the Condor, they turn up the high-tech volume in an endeavor to make a definitive movement film. Robert Clayton Dean, played by Will Smith, is a dedicated father, spouse, and law advocate looking for an enchanting blessing for his wife. What he doesn’t have an inkling is that he was given a videotape from a companion noticing the later homicide of a U.s. representative advanced by degenerate National Security Agency official Thomas Reynolds. Presently Reynolds is after Dean to blanket his tracks or, as the gathering of people soon figures out, edge Dean for Rachel’s homicide. Since Dean isn’t up on his high-tech gadgetry, he needs the help of ex-brainpower agent Brill. Between the outbursts and pursues is the subtext of George Orwell’s 1984 mantra “beware of enormous sibling,” as Dean understands that in the current planet, there is no such thing as sum security.
